Thanksgiving Lesson by Zoe Gioja (South Korea ETA)
A simple Thanksgiving lesson that is for secondary ed. This lesson includes a written out lesson plan, as well as a PPT. The lesson begins with a comparison between American and Korean Thanksgiving, and then moves on to teach the students about Thanksgiving in America, specifically about American foods. Next, the lesson involves a speed quiz game that tests the students’ knowledge on the Thanksgiving food vocabulary they just learned. Finally, the students do an activity where they write “thankful/grateful” cards to people, such as friends and family.
