Lesson of the Week: Statue of Liberty Jeopardy

Statue of Liberty Jeopardy by Ayat Abourashed (Indonesia ETA)

Fulbridge now has lessons for the Indonesian curriculum! For our first lesson by an ETA based in Indonesia, we are going to focus on one of America’s famous landmarks: The Statue of Liberty.

As one of America’s most iconic monuments, giving the students a little history and description of this wondrous statue is a great way to learn a little bit more about America’s diverse culture. This lesson is meant for secondary students, and what better way to make descriptive text interesting than by playing jeopardy? A little competition never hurts. Students will be divided into teams and must answer questions about reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary.
