Lesson of the Week: Odd One Out

Odd One Out by David Stewart (South Korea ETA)

We’re starting off 2017 with a simple and fun lesson to use with your students to get them thinking in English again following break time!

Modified from waygook.org and shared by a third-year ETA, the lesson is designed for secondary level students. The students are given a group of words and have to come up with a reason why one does not fit in with the others. Points are awarded to teams based on which answer is “best.”

Full explanation of the lesson is provided in the lesson description. To download the lesson description, along with the lesson PowerPoint, click on the following links below!
