Gender and Sexuality in Society by Mary Nagle & Evan Berry (Brazil ETAs)
It’s Pride Month, so for our second Lesson of the Week in June we’re featuring a discussion-based lesson covering issues faced by the LGBTQQIA+ community: “Gender and Sexuality in Society” by former Brazil ETAs Mary Nagle and Evan Berry. Their 75-minute lesson plan, which you can find here, incorporates a variety of reading, writing, and video activities to encourage university-level students to express their thoughts on the many difficulties queer and trans communities face both in their home country of Brazil and worldwide.
