How’s the Weather? Pokémon Cards by Ashley Park and Chelsea Duff (South Korea ETAs)
Weather isn’t always the most interesting topic to teach to young children; there’s often a lot of rote memorization of vocabulary words involved. That’s why former South Korea ETAs Ashley Park and Chelsea Duff worked to create a more active, engaging way for their elementary school students to pick up weather words: a Pokémon-themed card game. Following an introduction of game rules on a PowerPoint, small groups of students use their Pokémon weather cards to battle each other. You can download materials for this game below:
