Porter investigates the history of trauma, literary expression, and the power of self-representation after WWI along with the influence of, and acceptance by, some of the most significant literary figures of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/fulbrighternetwork.com\/users\/1550338\">About the Author<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Joy Porter was a 2015-2016 Fulbright All Disciplines Scholar Award <\/em><em>with the Department of Native Studies at Dartmouth<\/em><em>, US. <\/em><em>She was born in the North of Ireland and writes about Indigenous histories, literatures and cultures and their relationship to modernity and the environment. In this revelatory new book, Dimitris Michalopoulos follows Capo d&#8217;Istria\u2019s career along with Alexander Hypsilantis, a Greek who became a general of the Russian army and tried to attract Russia\u2019s interest in a democratic revolution for Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fulbrighternetwork.com\/users\/4953714\"><em>About the Author<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dimitris Michalopoulos was a 1984-1985 U.S. Visiting Fulbright Scholar. He is a member French Academy of Marine Arts and Sciences. Previously, he served as director of the Museum of the City of Athens where he organized the first exhibition of a large Russian museum in a Western European country. As a bilingual writer his articles have appeared in the Detroit Free Press, The Miami Herald, El Comercio, El Peruano, Visualmente.com and The Huffington Post, among others.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Additional works include his documentary \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/96952240\">Tita Turns 100<\/a>, \u201d which premiered at the Chicago Feminist Film Festival in 2016, winning the Lisagor Award in the Best Short Film Documentary category in 2017. They consolidate literary work separately and according to available means, growing their reach while ensuring anonymity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Angolan Ministry of Education offered its primary school teachers an opportunity to attend a distance professional development activity; the study concluded that TV and radio broadcasting classes&#8217; practical aspects improved their procedures, such as content organization and contextualization significantly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>About the Author <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadia Abreu Bengo was a 2015-2016 Fulbright Foreign Student at the College of Saint Rose in U.S. She is currently working in the Department of Continuous and Distance Education, National Institute of Education Staff, in the Angolan Ministry of Education. His studies focus on renewable energy sources with a particular interest in solar panels.
