Pok\u00e9mon Cards <\/em>by Ashley Park and Chelsea Duff (South Korea ETAs)<\/p>\n<p>Weather isn\u2019t always the most interesting topic to teach to young children; there\u2019s often a lot of rote memorization of vocabulary words involved. That\u2019s why former South Korea ETAs Ashley Park and Chelsea Duff worked to create a more active, engaging way for their elementary school students to pick up weather words: a Pok\u00e9mon-themed card game. Following an introduction of game rules on a PowerPoint, small groups of students use their Pok\u00e9mon weather cards to battle each other.
